Joris Skudra, a documentary filmmaker, began his career in his teens in Lithuania. He discovered the magic of extended observation, transforming real-life stories into narratives more captivating than fiction.
His documentaries infuses humor to connect viewers with shared empathy. Joris’s films have been commissioned by Bloomberg Originals, Bacardi, Atlas Obscura, Great Big Story, while his independent work was presented at IDFA, Clermont Ferrand and FLICKER's. He is currently in the production of creating two long-form documentary films—one about cyborgs and another featuring a funky photographer.
